5. Picasso day - Jan10

Day 4 in Pisa

Woke up late,

I believe around eight,

Went downstairs to eat my usual granola

And to talk to the concierge, Nicola.

He told me about the Spa Giacomo thermal baths

Called, booked me a massage, 70 Euros, hmm as I count the math.

Went across the bridge to the telephone store,

Told the fellow you didn’t give me the code for the SIMS chip

He said, “No you must have lost! 10 euros more!”

The first time in Italy I feel I have been robbed,

But paid another 10 Euros to the lying slob!

Still can’t work this phone, God I hate the  electronic,

I also have to pay 2.50 daily to use the internet.

Went to the museum on the Arno

To see the traveling works of Picasso.

Pretty impressive are his works,

But after studying the man’s life, I think he’s a jerk!

Went to the bus station to get a ticket for the next day,

The lady at the counter doesn’t understand what I say.

Went back to the hotel to get the right place,

Wow, I was completely off base!

I am completely tired, don’t feel like walking,

Tired of thinking, and can’t do anymore talking!

I’ll just lay low for the rest of the night

And tomorrow start again, and hope I get it right!
